MAHDCO Compliance to BSCI rules

It is with great honour that we share MAHDCO TUNISIE's validation of compliance with BSCI social responsibility rules under the code: 395660.
The BSCI: Business Social Compliance Iniciative is a social compliance standard that allows to control the compliance of suppliers according to predefined rules. Based in Brussels, the BSCI was founded by the Belgian Trade Union, working on the study of ethical social values.
Essentially, the BSCI is based on 11 fundamental labour rights on which MAHDCO Tunisia has been validated under category A (Exceptionnal):
1- The Rights of Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining.
Our company respects the right of workers to form trade unions or other types of workers' associations and to bargain collectively.
2- Fair Remuneration.
Our company respects the right of workers to receive fair remuneration.
3- Health and Safety in working environment.
Our company ensures a healthy and safe working environment, assesses risks and takes all necessary measures to eliminate or reduce them.
4- Special Protection for Young Workers.
Our company offers special protection to all workers who are not yet adults.
5- No Forced Labour.
Our company does not engage in any form of forced servitude, trafficking or involuntary work.
6- Ethical Business Conduct.
Our company does not tolerate bribery, extortion, embezzlement or corruption.
7- No Discrimination.
Our company provides equal opportunities and does not discriminate against workers.
8- Decent working hours.
Our company complies with the law on working hours.
9- No Child Labour.
Our company will not hire any worker under the legal minimum age.
10- No Precarious Employment.
Our company hires workers on the basis of documented contracts according to the law.
11- Environmental Protection.
Our company takes the necessary measures in terms of environmental protection.
